About the role

  • Perform Salesforce administrator functions including maintenance/updates, system backups, security, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, custom reports, dashboards and groups.
  • Develop, implement, and support enterprise custom and packaged applications and other internal software programs used by end users in the organization.
  • Perform a variety of systems related analytical activities to support application functionality, availability and performance.
  • Analyze, understand, and translate business needs into technical configurations that administrators and developers can use as guidelines for configuration and/or programming work.
  • Configure Salesforce to satisfy business requirements.
  • Provide daily system/application administration.
  • Maintain system and application backup/recovery and patching.
  • Manage access and security of the systems and applications.
  • Monitor and proactively support system/application capacity planning and stability.
  • Assess technical requirements of requests and scope for projects and communicate results to the business clients, project teams, and IT counterparts.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in performing Salesforce administrator functions and working with Salesforce build tools (e.g. Salesforce DX, Github, Github Actions etc.)
  • Salesforce configuration experience.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud CPQ and Subscription Management is a plus.
  • Service Cloud and Experience Cloud is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills as well as exceptional customer service as well as business relationship-building skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and within teams.
