About the role

  • Manage your territory and customer base to increase recurring diagnostic revenue
  • Attain quarterly medical device equipment sales
  • Increase utilization of in-house diagnostic tests and assays
  • Collaborate with other IDEXX sales professionals to close capital equipment and technology
  • Educate and train veterinary clinic staff about products, services and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of IDEXX's products and services
  • Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to IDEXX's marketing organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 or more years of proven experience successfully managing your own sales territory
  • Fluent Finnish & fluent business English - both written and verbal
  • Territory management sales experience in veterinary/animal health industry, Human Healthcare medical device sales, dental device sales, and/or prior capital equipment sales.
  • Ability to work well in a highly team oriented, collaborative, sales environment
  • Meets the requirements of a field sales role including extensive car travel (company car provided), overnight travel if needed, flexibility for potential weekend work to attend tradeshows or meetings, and ability to lift up to 60 pounds
