About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate strategic initiatives, business priorities, and functional objectives into integrated project plans with deliverables, timelines, milestones, owners, dependencies, and success metrics
  • Develop and maintain project plans, workback schedules, risk logs, issue trackers, decision logs, stakeholder maps, and status reporting tools
  • Define project scope, business cases, expected outcomes, resource requirements, and governance models
  • Drive execution discipline, clarify priorities and accountabilities, and resolve barriers to progress
  • Establish and manage project governance routines, steering committee updates, milestone reviews, decision forums, and escalation processes
  • Track actions, owners, decisions, risks, and dependencies; provide consistent reporting and timely communication
  • Partner with business leaders, functional leaders, site leaders, and initiative owners across Operations, Finance, HR, Commercial, Continuous Improvement, IT, Supply Chain, and other teams
  • Facilitate alignment and practical trade-offs across scope, timing, budget, resources, and value
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, resource constraints, and execution gaps
  • Monitor project health across schedule, scope, budget, quality, adoption, and business impact
  • Support change management and stakeholder communications
  • Apply business and financial acumen to prioritization, value creation, growth, margin improvement, productivity, customer outcomes, and organizational effectiveness
  • Prepare executive-ready project updates, dashboards, decision documents, risk updates, and milestone reports
  • Facilitate focused meetings, capture decisions, assign owners, and complete follow-up actions
  • Develop and improve PMO tools, templates, routines, standards, governance, reporting, and project management practices
  • Capture lessons learned and share best practices across projects and teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, or a related field
  • Project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex, matrixed, or multi-site environment
  • Ability to build project plans, manage timelines, track milestones, identify risks, and drive accountability
  • Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen covering operational, financial, organizational, and customer implications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive-ready updates and facilitating decision-making conversations
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive results through collaboration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure where none exists
  • Proficiency with project management tools, Microsoft Office applications, and project reporting methods
  • Must be able to support projects across multiple functions, businesses, and stakeholder groups
  • Must be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs
  • Must be able to work effectively in strategic planning discussions and detailed execution environments
  • Preferred: experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, operational, commercial, or global business environments
  • Preferred: experience supporting strategic initiatives, transformation programs, operating model deployment, integration efforts, or enterprise-level priorities
  • Preferred: familiarity with business operating rhythms such as goal deployment, daily management, or monthly business reviews
