About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage a distributor network by collaborating with internal teams and converting existing distributors into more efficient operations.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key distributor and customer stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
  • Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies through data-driven analysis, on-site visits, and implementation of corrective action plans (CAPs).
  • Drive sales performance and support distributor product knowledge by creating targeted action plans, coordinating trainings, and generating customer-focused proposals.
  • Ensure compliance and communication across the distribution network by reporting activities in Salesforce, communicating pricing/product updates, and supporting audits and quality initiatives.
  • Travel frequently, 50%+

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years working with lubricant distributors – industrial lubricant knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of distributor operations; how distributors make money.
  • Knowledge of the essential functions for each distributor; understand deeply how distributors operate.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills – including excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of distribution operations and lubricants industry.
  • Analytical, organized, and self-driven mindset – combining critical thinking, time management, and emotional intelligence.
