About the role
- Development and industrialization of new products (Metal, Recycled, Powered)
- Define and organize test plans based on risks identified during the development phase
- Participate in trials and measurements during development by analyzing process parameters to determine the process window
- Prepare documentation, training and quality control plans
- Manage pilots in Mass Production by preparing introduction documentation, training, procedures for new products and processes, and monitoring performance indicators
- Analyze technical automation needs using technical, economic and capacity studies
- Participate in equipment lifecycle management — technology watch, feasibility, qualification, investment, transfer and obsolescence
- Support investment or equipment transfer projects while considering cost, quality and lead-time constraints
- Execute equipment commissioning or qualification phases at suppliers and on IDEMIA sites by anticipating and implementing the required tests and measurements
- Develop a range of processes — manual, semi-automatic, automatic and high-throughput
- Create associated documentation (specifications, operating procedures, control plans, process windows, settings and maintenance plans)
Requirements
- Industrial experience is essential
- Experience in process and/or product qualification is essential
- Solid, cross-disciplinary engineering background (mechanical, electronic, automation)
- Experience in team management and project management
- Knowledge of laser marking technologies is a plus
- Printing and plastics industry experience would be an advantage
- Office IT skills; CAD (read and create drawings)
- Fluent English required (read, written, spoken) — daily use
- German or Spanish would be a significant plus
