About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan material requirements and procurement to ensure timely supply for international solar tracker projects and customer deliveries
  • Execute project-specific purchasing activities in compliance with internal policies and existing supplier agreements
  • Organize international transports for tracker system components, including selection, contracting and management of suitable logistics service providers and freight forwarders
  • Monitor global shipments and proactively identify, resolve and communicate delays, risks, and deviations at an early stage
  • Prepare and maintain transport, shipping, and export documents in accordance with applicable trade regulations and Incoterms
  • Coordinate interfaces with suppliers and internal departments (project management, procurement, and quality) to ensure smooth material and information flows
  • Support inventory and demand planning to ensure material availability for global installations at all times
  • Prepare KPIs, performance data, and process reports to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training (e.g., industrial clerk, freight forwarding clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk); a bachelor's degree is optional but not required
  • At least two years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics coordination, or international transport, ideally in an international industrial or project environment
  • Experience working with global supply chains, including international shipping operations, customs procedures, and Incoterms
  • Strong knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP), procurement processes, and supplier communication—particularly when handling mechanical or technical components
  • Hands-on experience coordinating international transports and preparing export and shipping documents for global projects
  • Proficient use of ERP systems and very good Excel skills; experience with TMS or reporting tools is an advantage
  • Structured, reliable, and proactive work style, with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High integrity when handling compliance and export control requirements
  • Very good German and English language skills
