About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full sales cycle in Germany, from self-generated pipeline to closed deals
- Deliver sales targets by focusing on new customer acquisition
- Create and develop new opportunities through cold outreach, networking, events, and in-person meetings
- Build relationships with decision-makers across financial institutions, advisory firms, and other strategic German accounts
- Consistently share insights and provide updates to customers
- Take part in arranging M&A Community events, enhancing Ideals visibility
- Provide relevant customer feedback to the product development and management teams
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Inside Sales to grow customer satisfaction and the company’s revenue
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1,5+ years of demonstrable success in direct sales or business development within B2B or professional services sector
- Experience in high-velocity sales environments and effectively engaging with decision-makers
- Clear evidence of hunter mentality
- A track record of successfully managing pipelines and closing high-value deals
- Exceptional business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery
- Full professional proficiency in English (C1) and native-level fluency in German
- Based in Berlin or within a realistic commuting distance for in-person client meetings
