About the role
- Travel within the assigned territory or account base to identify and develop business opportunities
- Meet with customers of OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and end-users
- Present technical seminars on large machines
- Identify new customers and develop market strategy
- Manage marketing and sales actions
- Negotiate contracts for large machines
- Manage the technical and commercial support to OEMs, EPCs, and end-users in the territory
- Coordinate sales activities with other Account Managers, as needed
- Work with Application Engineers to resolve issues related to requests for quotations
- Provide guidance, as needed, to application engineers in order to clarify customer requirements
- Manage purchase orders and contracts
- Coordinate the analysis of contract terms
- Engage in technical discussions with engineering teams at the factories, as needed
Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience (Preferred)
- 3 years of Electric Motor/Generators experience (Preferred)
- Experienced working with customers and vendors in a B2B environment
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Great attention to detail and time-management skills
