About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Representatives to deliver consistent high performance
- Act as a role model by demonstrating best-in-class business development behaviours, techniques, and standards
- Build and execute structured development plans to support individual and team progression
- Create a high-energy, positive, and motivating team environment that drives engagement and results
- Inspire and motivate the team to exceed pipeline, activity, and performance targets
- Drive pipeline generation and qualification to support regional revenue growth
- Monitor team performance using data and insights to continuously optimise outputs and conversion rates
- Recruit, hire, and onboard high-potential BDR talent, building a strong future talent pipeline
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Generation teams to align on strategy and execution
- Ensure effective use of sales tools and CRM systems
- Establish scalable processes, frameworks, and ways of working to improve team effectiveness
- Maintain accurate reporting and visibility of pipeline performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in BDR/SDR leadership, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment
- Track record of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a genuine passion for developing others
- High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to perform at their best
- Leads by example, with a hands-on approach and willingness to demonstrate best practice
- Results-driven with a strong focus on accountability and achieving targets
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance and act on insights
- Experience recruiting and developing top talent with future sales potential
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
