About the role
- Own the monthly group consolidation and reporting cycle.
- Lead financial integration for acquired businesses.
- Apply technical accounting expertise to complex transactions.
- Support statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors.
- Strengthen governance and controls across the group.
- Build strong relationships with regional finance teams and senior stakeholders.
- Drive finance transformation projects and system implementations.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualification with solid post-qualified experience.
- Proven track record in financial controller roles within complex, multinational businesses.
- Hands-on experience with M&A integration accounting and IFRS 3.
- Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work strategically while staying close to the detail.
- Excellent communication skills – you can turn complex data into clear insights.
- Comfortable working in Nottingham 3 days a week.
