About the role
- Responsible for supporting IDC’s financial stewardship across its grant portfolio.
- Develop relevant budgets for potential grants and projects in collaboration with the Executive Director and regional personnel.
- Provide financial analysis and support for budget planning and forecasting.
- Ensure donor-specific financial requirements are followed and maintain grant finance folders.
- Collaborate with Finance Coordinator to maintain up-to-date grant and income record keeping.
Requirements
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
- At least 3 years of grants and finance experience in nonprofits.
- Strong computer skills, including grants management systems (GMS), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.
- Experience in finance administration, including coordinating transaction workflows, payments, controls, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Clear and confident communication, comfortable working in a remote team, and fluency in written and spoken English.
- Commitment to the human rights of refugees, people seeking asylum and migrants.
