About the role

  • Responsible for supporting IDC’s financial stewardship across its grant portfolio.
  • Develop relevant budgets for potential grants and projects in collaboration with the Executive Director and regional personnel.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for budget planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure donor-specific financial requirements are followed and maintain grant finance folders.
  • Collaborate with Finance Coordinator to maintain up-to-date grant and income record keeping.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
  • At least 3 years of grants and finance experience in nonprofits.
  • Strong computer skills, including grants management systems (GMS), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.
  • Experience in finance administration, including coordinating transaction workflows, payments, controls, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Clear and confident communication, comfortable working in a remote team, and fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Commitment to the human rights of refugees, people seeking asylum and migrants.
