About the role

  • Lead and execute comprehensive market analysis projects, including TAM sizing and segmentation
  • Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence research, tracking competitor activities, product announcements, and strategic shifts
  • Develop and refine business strategies and recommendations based on data-driven insights
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Manage a small team, providing guidance, mentorship, and project oversight, while also actively participating in the day-to-day work
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment on market insights and strategy
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results

Requirements

  • A Bachelors' Degree (Advanced degree a plus)
  • 5 plus years of previous market research experience or in a related industry
  • Proven experience in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and related business strategy role
  • Demonstrated ability to perform TAM sizing and other quantitative market analysis techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of presenting to executive leadership
  • Experience in a leadership or management role, with the ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid writing skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in using AI/GenAI preferred
  • Strong documentation skills along with verbal and written communication skills
