About the role
- Lead and execute comprehensive market analysis projects, including TAM sizing and segmentation
- Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence research, tracking competitor activities, product announcements, and strategic shifts
- Develop and refine business strategies and recommendations based on data-driven insights
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
- Manage a small team, providing guidance, mentorship, and project oversight, while also actively participating in the day-to-day work
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment on market insights and strategy
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
Requirements
- A Bachelors' Degree (Advanced degree a plus)
- 5 plus years of previous market research experience or in a related industry
- Proven experience in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and related business strategy role
- Demonstrated ability to perform TAM sizing and other quantitative market analysis techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of presenting to executive leadership
- Experience in a leadership or management role, with the ability to mentor and develop team members
- Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Solid writing skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in using AI/GenAI preferred
- Strong documentation skills along with verbal and written communication skills
