About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Attain sales quota for capital medical devices and software in complex, long-cycle clinical sales
- Consult with health system and hospital stakeholders from clinical users to C-suite on infusion therapy best practices, trends, clinical accuracy, and patient outcomes
- Conduct current-state IV therapy assessments and develop future-state clinical value propositions aligned with customer objectives
- Provide sales consultation and workflow analyses related to IV medication safety and best practices
- Identify IV technology and practice inefficiencies, safety concerns, revenue opportunities, cost reduction opportunities, and regulatory non-compliance
- Recommend workflow redesigns and practice changes
- Serve as the clinical infusion subject matter expert for internal sales staff and customers
- Collaborate with Device Sales Specialists, Strategic Business Solutions, regional managers, product teams, implementation and support teams, and sales training
- Provide customer feedback and input into product development and software enhancements
- Stay current on infusion technology, industry organizations, practice guidelines, and recommendations
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize opportunities and tasks, and complete special projects as assigned
- Travel approximately 75% of the time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Minimum 4 years of hospital clinical education or departmental management/leadership experience required
- Active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, required for customer locations
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with the Authorized Driver Policy required
- Comprehensive experience with acute care hospital IV infusion administration, patient throughput, nursing practice, IV medication administration, and EMR workflows
- Experience implementing, using, or managing infusion systems with safety or dose-error-reduction software preferred
- Current RN licensure and critical care experience preferred
- Minimum 10 years of acute care hospital environment experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare markets, trends, infusion therapy, and EMR integration platforms
- Effective communication, collaboration, presentation, business writing, critical thinking, problem resolution, and technical skills
- Ability to prioritize activities and travel; team-selling experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
