About the role

  • Manage GPO/IDN Membership Team and supervise Membership Specialists, overseeing day-to-day membership maintenance activities, including monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, and SOX financial practices.
  • Proactively administer and maintain GPO or IDN memberships and LOC/Rebate eligibility memberships; conduct audits and spot checks to ensure accurate pricing, commitment tracking and admin fee or rebate payments.
  • Provide training and coaching to Membership Specialists; conduct 1:1s, group training and performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Develop and maintain clear Membership processes and procedures; maintain Operating Procedure, training material and job aids for the Membership Team.
  • Audit Membership and customer ship-to contract eligibility, collaborate with Sales Contracting Analyst Teams to implement and launch new agreements, and assign customers to appropriate pricing and rebate tiers.
  • Audit Monthly and Quarterly rebate membership validation files; publish weekly trackers for activations; manage and monitor team mailbox to ensure timely responses to eligibility inquiries.
  • Work with internal teams (Field Sales, Sales Contract Analysts, Sales Processing, Customer Care, Finance, Data Governance) and external customers (GPOs, IDNs, Trading Partners) to resolve pricing/membership disputes.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Membership; test new systems and enhancements, provide project support to management, manage GPO Cross Reference Tool, support contract renewal and analysis, manage contract expirations and extensions, and work on special projects assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Demonstrated ability and methods to manage a team in a remote work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish key metrics for measuring individual performance and overall team deliverables.
  • Understanding of end-to-end commercial contracting operations and how accurate customer pricing is maintained with this ecosystem.
  • Individual should possess good problem solving skills, the ability to plan, organize and manage a variable workload and meet deadlines with accurate results.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Skill and ability to accomplish goals with little or no supervision and determine when escalation of issues is necessary
  • Interact with external customers and internally with cross-functional teams to resolve contract pricing or membership issues.
  • Experience in Model N or similar gross to net revenue management software system.
  • Intermediate-Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required.
