About the role
- Review, analyze, and assess RFP documents to determine the best approach for proposal response.
- Responsible for quarterbacking the RFP process from receipt to submission, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Work with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, technical, finance, contracting) to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive proposals that align with client needs and company capabilities.
- Engage with internal departments (sales, marketing, legal, finance, contracting) to ensure that proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with the company’s goals.
- Review and ensure that proposals fully comply with RFP instructions and client requirements.
- Maintain a detailed record of all RFPs, including RFP Tracker for status tracking, timelines, and deadlines.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients throughout the RFP process, providing updates and clarifications as needed.
- Continuously assess and refine the RFP process and content library. Recommend and implement process improvements, tools, and templates to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality in future proposals.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus
- 1-3 years’ experience in Contracting preferred with a minimum of 1 years of experience in the Medical Industry
- General knowledge of manufacturing, sales and distribution processes
