About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, manage, and quality-check evidence synthesis and analytical tasks and projects for clients, including indirect treatment comparison, network meta-analysis, and survival/statistical analyses
- Provide strategic and technical expertise to clients and internally across state-of-the-art evidence synthesis methods, including deterministic and Bayesian network meta-analyses
- Support HTA submission preparation and develop study designs and analytic plans
- Lead qualitative and/or quantitative analysis plans, literature reviews, statistical analyses, and client-ready reports
- Develop deliverable document outlines and formats
- Complete internal documentation and quality-check others' work
- Analyze research problems and connect scientific tasks to overall research goals
- Develop recommendations on scientific methods and approaches for clients
- Maintain current subject-matter knowledge of developments, trends, and best practices
- Manage workload against project scope, timelines, and quality requirements
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and related institutions
- Conceptualize and draft proposals based on client ideas or RFPs, and modify proposals in response to client requests
- Lead business development opportunities and support BD efforts
- Lead project teams, identify staff resources, present scope of work, and provide direction and feedback
- Manage projects against internal timelines and budgets
- Mentor and coach junior staff, with possible formal line management
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or MSc in Statistics
- 8+ years of experience in evidence synthesis
- Significant experience within a consulting, academic, or pharmaceutical/devices industry environment
- Proven management experience, particularly the ability to lead a team of junior analysts
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- High self-motivation
- Leadership potential
- Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
