About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, manage, and quality-check evidence synthesis and analytical tasks and projects for clients, including indirect treatment comparison, network meta-analysis, and survival/statistical analyses
  • Provide strategic and technical expertise to clients and internally across state-of-the-art evidence synthesis methods, including deterministic and Bayesian network meta-analyses
  • Support HTA submission preparation and develop study designs and analytic plans
  • Lead qualitative and/or quantitative analysis plans, literature reviews, statistical analyses, and client-ready reports
  • Develop deliverable document outlines and formats
  • Complete internal documentation and quality-check others' work
  • Analyze research problems and connect scientific tasks to overall research goals
  • Develop recommendations on scientific methods and approaches for clients
  • Maintain current subject-matter knowledge of developments, trends, and best practices
  • Manage workload against project scope, timelines, and quality requirements
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and related institutions
  • Conceptualize and draft proposals based on client ideas or RFPs, and modify proposals in response to client requests
  • Lead business development opportunities and support BD efforts
  • Lead project teams, identify staff resources, present scope of work, and provide direction and feedback
  • Manage projects against internal timelines and budgets
  • Mentor and coach junior staff, with possible formal line management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD or MSc in Statistics
  • 8+ years of experience in evidence synthesis
  • Significant experience within a consulting, academic, or pharmaceutical/devices industry environment
  • Proven management experience, particularly the ability to lead a team of junior analysts
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • High self-motivation
  • Leadership potential
  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
