About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to clinical trial activities and vendor relationships
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess contract risks and identify improvement opportunities
Develop strategies to mitigate potential contractual issues
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract status, milestones, and deliverables using contract management systems
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract interpretation, compliance, and dispute resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract management in the clinical research industry
Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory requirements related to clinical trials and vendor agreements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Legal right to work in Canada
Advanced degree or certification in Contract Management or a relevant discipline preferred
