About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a senior scientific, medical, and strategic leader for ICON Medical Imaging & Cardiac Safety Services
- Build, expand, and strengthen executive-level sponsor relationships
- Drive sustainable business growth through strategic account development
- Provide expert guidance on imaging, diagnostics, cardiac safety methodologies
- Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Operations, Medical Affairs, and Executive Leadership
- Provide strategic oversight for study delivery
- Lead initiatives that promote innovation, scientific advancement, and organizational capability building
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to support continued growth and differentiation
- Mentor and develop scientific and operational leaders
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or MD required
- Significant executive leadership experience within clinical research, diagnostics, medical imaging, and/or cardiac safety environments
- Deep expertise in diagnostics, medical imaging technologies, imaging biomarkers, centralized imaging review, cardiac safety methodologies, and imaging endpoint strategies
- Proven ability to build and expand sponsor relationships through technical, scientific, and medical dialogue
- Demonstrated success driving business growth through strategic account development, consultative solutioning, proposal strategy, bid defense participation, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, regulatory considerations, quality requirements, and operational oversight
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills
- Live in the United States with ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%
