Monitor the financial health of study, program or vendor (project specifications, units, invoicing, change orders, forecasting)
Lead monthly financial review meetings with the Clinical Program and Study Leads
Drive the close-out process so studies are closed in a timely manner, including processing invoices and resolving vendor invoice discrepancies
Help to drive the financial change control process and understand the relationship between changes in study scope to budget
Ability to provide high level forecasts using existing agreements, rate cards and algorithms
Identification and trend analysis of vendor costs and reconciliations
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must Have: Worked at a CRO or Central Lab working on preparing or billing sponsor-level budgets
Experience in developing or negotiating contracts with vendors
BA/BS Finance (degree in Finance preferred)
3+ years of experience with clinical trial budgets
Critical thinker and detail oriented
Excellent communication skills both in person and in writing
Great collaborator and can work with all kinds of people
Understanding of healthcare finance (including knowledge of financial statements and financial modeling tools)
Experience working with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs)
