About the role

  • Lead DM activities for assigned products, ensuring adherence to processes and quality standards
  • Oversee project timelines, cycle times, metrics, and CAPA processes
  • Mentor and train DM staff, fostering continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement DM policies, SOPs, and best practices
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality deliverables
  • Represent DM in cross-functional teams and project meetings
  • Oversee database locks, submissions, and study-specific training
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to timelines while mentoring DM staff and managing vendor relationships

Requirements

  • Doctorate OR Master's (3+ years clinical experience) OR Bachelor's (5+ years)
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
  • 6+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech data management
  • 3+ years in project management & planning
  • Experience overseeing vendors (CROs, labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of clinical data management processes, SOPs, and regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH guidelines)
  • Proficiency in electronic data capture (EDC) systems and database management
  • Experience leading DM teams and mentoring staff
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
