About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure ESH Compliance: Promote good safety/housekeeping standards.
Ensure Project Management: Orderly and timely execution of projects.
Ensure Cost Management: Intimate involvement with local and corporate Procurement throughout all phases of project.
Project Development: Ability to develop, justify and execute projects from concept through start-up.
Ensure Project Execution: Supervise outside contractors and maintenance forces on assigned projects.
Support improvements in equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) or related field with equivalent job experience.
A minimum of 2 years project engineering work experience in chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
Project management/engineering experience.
Ability to work independently and/or in a team/leader capacity.
Outstanding communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Understand chemical processes.
Understand basics of control systems.
Experience in projects utilizing external engineering and construction firms.
Ability to safely exit out of the plant in the event of an emergency.
