About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a number of projects in the area of novel coatings for fertilizers
- Define goals, set priorities and drive the project forward within budget and time
- Plan needed experiments in the lab and scale up to pilot and full scale trials and lead the team executing them
- Lead the engineering activities for construction and start-up of different facilities in R&D
- Be main R&D stakeholder in engineering of the production lines (modifications and building of new) from the conceptual design of new process to support all engineering stages to construction and start-up
- Coordinate from R&D the collaboration of the different disciplines and departments on the R&D and engineering projects
- Direct communication with higher management. Influence to steer decisions (e.g. CAPEX)
Requirements
What you’ll need- MEng degree in Chemical Engineering
- 10+ years experience in equivalent industrial environment
- 5-10 years experience in management and execution of engineering projects
- Affinity for innovation and R&D
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient in reporting to different stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is highly appreciated)
