About the role
- Responsible for executing bench and pilot-plant experiments under the supervision of the immediate manager to support the development of new fertilizer products.
- Provide support to Research & Development activities across all group units.
- Assist specialists with general R&D activities, working in the laboratory, greenhouse and field.
- Manage inventory control of controlled products and laboratory supplies, reporting inventory to the Regulatory area.
- Perform and interpret physicochemical analyses, analytical determinations and instrumental tests.
- Prepare technical reports related to the activities performed.
- Implement actions related to the continuous improvement program.
- Assist specialists with bibliographic research.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory, pilot plant and office.
- Assist the qualification area in the onboarding process of new suppliers.
- Collaborate with the agronomy team on product evaluation and validation tests in the greenhouse and field.
- Support specialists in preparing and maintaining quality system documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in physicochemical analyses, preparation and standardization of solutions, handling and storage of chemical reagents and analytical chemistry.
- Desirable knowledge of laboratory procedures, Good Laboratory Practices, laboratory safety, 5S program and ISO 9001.
- Advantageous: experience in developing analytical methodologies.
- Basic English.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
