About the role
- Support the development, production and monitoring of products and processes.
- Perform daily sampling of bioreactors, analyzing fermentation parameters (optical density, pH, microscopy and purity), as well as releases for production, transfer and inoculation.
- Assist in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in identifying products or services that do not meet required standards.
- Verify the condition and suitability of tools and equipment (micropipettes, balances, pH meters, among others).
- Recover, preserve and assist in the characterization of microorganisms.
- Perform microbiological analyses and assist with molecular biology analyses of samples collected from different stages of the production process.
- Perform analyses and document results.
Requirements
- Degree in Bioprocess and Biotechnology Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in microbiology and/or quality control is a plus.
- English proficiency is a plus.
- Analytical skills, ability to work in a team, good interpersonal skills.
- Excel – Intermediate.
