About the role

  • Import Process Monitoring: Assist in updating and tracking import processes in the system (SAP/OSGT), ensuring the accuracy of information.
  • Follow-up with Exporters: Contact exporters to confirm deadlines and shipment status, reporting any discrepancies to the responsible party.
  • Document Verification: Assist in checking documents (INVOICE, PACKING LIST, BL, COA, COO) according to the provided checklist.
  • Invoice Issuance: Issue invoices for import processes in the ERP.
  • Partner Communication: Support communication with customs brokers and freight agents to confirm process steps.
  • KPI and Report Preparation: Update spreadsheets and generate reports for internal monitoring.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade or a related field.
  • Desired Experience: Experience with import/export operations, document verification, customs clearance, and customer service.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Excel (including formulas) and PowerPoint. Power BI is desirable.
  • Languages: English / Spanish
