About the role
- Responsible for leading, developing and executing engineering projects, preparing technical specifications, calculation reports, descriptive reports, and defining technologies and execution techniques.
- Conduct layout studies, review and evaluate drawings, and follow up with equipment suppliers.
- Provide the necessary resources to enable construction, assembly, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Prepare installation documentation and define performance criteria for project installations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 4 to 5 years in the role.
- Specific knowledge: mass and energy balances; development of process flow diagrams, PFDs and P&IDs; equipment calculations and sizing; piping design and sizing; environmental protection systems; and knowledge of process safety systems.
