About the role
- Support DoD Child and Youth Programs (CYP) program; modernize and integrate legacy applications
- Collaborate with product owners, technical architects, developers, UX designers, and SMEs to translate business needs into requirements and specifications
- Participate in Agile processes: elicit, analyze, document, and communicate requirements; maintain backlog; write user stories and acceptance criteria
- Produce technical documents: use cases, functional specs, data mapping, interfaces, reporting, testing activities
- Conduct system demonstrations and contribute to governance and project process documentation
- Support RFI/RFP, prototypes, oral presentations, and uphold necessary certifications
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced application development environment.
- 8+ years of experience facilitating requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, capturing client requirements and feedback
- 5+ years’ experience in documenting requirements and specifications for web and/or software development teams
- 5+ years recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a business analyst (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with UI/UX teams or directly supporting user interface design and usability improvements
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder)
- MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust.
