About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of secure, mission-critical applications
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, performant, and maintainable applications using Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript
  • Develop and optimize Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database solutions
  • Build and support cloud-based solutions in AWS GovCloud environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-service and system-integration issues
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with product owners, architects, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams
  • Conduct code reviews, unit and integration testing, and debugging
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering architecture, design, and implementation
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, DoW policies, and security requirements
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, status reports, and performance updates for government stakeholders and corporate leadership
  • Build partnerships with internal and external partners to maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Top Secret Clearance; Interim TS will be considered
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the full Software Development Lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment of secure enterprise-level applications
  • 2 years’ experience working on or around AWS cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Java or Kotlin and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and modern development frameworks
  • Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases, including writing and optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity
  • Experience supporting applications in AWS GovCloud or other secure cloud environments
  • Understanding of cloud architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-organize, prioritize, and conduct research across multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred
