About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take detailed notes during internal and client-facing meetings and distribute summaries and action items
  • Assist with drafting and designing pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and client-facing materials
  • Develop and update website, social media, success-story, and capability-statement content
  • Research government and private-sector targets, funding opportunities, and procurement forecasts
  • Monitor competitor activity, market positioning, and program performance
  • Maintain CRM entries, track leads, and update pursuit status reports
  • Collaborate with business development leads, proposal managers, and technical experts on messaging and strategy
  • Create and maintain documents and presentation materials
  • Complete special projects supporting division needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • By the start date, at least 30 completed college-level credit hours in public policy, writing, government, business, or a related field
  • Interest in government contracting, consulting, disaster recovery, or resilience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
  • Experience conducting research and organizing and analyzing information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Commitment to making a difference through work in environment, energy, and social justice
