About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take detailed notes during internal and client-facing meetings and distribute summaries and action items
- Assist with drafting and designing pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and client-facing materials
- Develop and update website, social media, success-story, and capability-statement content
- Research government and private-sector targets, funding opportunities, and procurement forecasts
- Monitor competitor activity, market positioning, and program performance
- Maintain CRM entries, track leads, and update pursuit status reports
- Collaborate with business development leads, proposal managers, and technical experts on messaging and strategy
- Create and maintain documents and presentation materials
- Complete special projects supporting division needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- By the start date, at least 30 completed college-level credit hours in public policy, writing, government, business, or a related field
- Interest in government contracting, consulting, disaster recovery, or resilience preferred
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to learn new things quickly
- Experience conducting research and organizing and analyzing information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Commitment to making a difference through work in environment, energy, and social justice
