About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with customers to understand and document data requirements for analysis and reporting
- Gather data from primary and secondary sources, following data management best practices
- Work with large datasets and perform complex data analysis
- Identify and correct data errors and inconsistencies
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and relationships and interpret results
- Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids for decision-making
- Collaborate with data governance teams and stakeholders to maintain data accuracy during ingestion and transformation
- Partner with development teams to translate requirements and conduct QA on final products
- Participate in regular agile meetings with development and governance teams
- Manage user accounts, including roles, permissions, and security settings
- Own business processes end-to-end and lead identification and implementation of best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience with data analytics tools such as Snowflake or similar tools
- 2+ years of experience capturing data requirements and analyzing data
- 2+ years of experience using SharePoint, JIRA, MS Office, or similar systems
- 1+ years of experience using SQL and working with databases or data platforms
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to federal contract requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance
- Must reside in the United States and perform the work in the United States
- Experience with data visualization technologies such as Power BI, including developing reports and dashboards
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within one or more teams
- Excellent time management, organizational, and reporting skills
- Ability to analyze existing system documentation and summarize functionality
