About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leverage hands-on knowledge and experience with site characterization and remediation technologies to promote improvements to the cleanup of Superfund sites.
- Lead and support technology transfer and training by identifying and evaluating ways to advance contaminated site cleanup including innovative technologies, approaches, strategies, and best practices.
- Lead technical support developing conceptual site models, site strategies, optimization recommendations, assisting with systematic project planning, and cost estimation.
- Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and client engagement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, science or similar discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience conducting site characterization and remediation of Superfund, Brownfields, and other contaminated sites.
- Experience with remediation of mining sites and the unique challenges associated with mining sites and mining influenced water.
- Knowledge of EPA Superfund cleanup program and policies.
- Experience in cost estimation related to environmental characterization and cleanup programs, as well as with the development and decommissioning of renewable energy projects.
- Expertise in developing technical deliverables and training materials.
