About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand complex business processes and system requirements in a digital modernization context.
Lead requirements elicitation and analysis, translating business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts.
Analyze and document system behavior including APIs, data flows, integrations, edge cases, and dependencies.
Actively manage and maintain backlogs in Jira.
Develop and maintain functional, delivery, and governance documentation in Confluence.
Partner with program leadership and technical leads to design new features and functionality.
Collaborate with architects and developers on solution designs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting application development and/or system modernization initiatives.
8+ years of experience facilitating requirements elicitation sessions and working with diverse stakeholder groups.
5+ years of experience documenting requirements and specifications for web-based or enterprise systems.
5+ years of recent experience working in a mature Agile delivery environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder).
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust.
