Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-based data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL
Process and standardize large-scale healthcare datasets
Develop and maintain production databases and analytic datasets
Perform data quality validation and consistency checks
Collaborate with epidemiologists, statisticians, and analysts for data solutions
Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and large-scale data processing issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or healthcare data environments
BA/BS in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health Informatics, Bioinformatics, or related field
Strong expertise in data integration, transformation, and quality control
Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python libraries for data processing
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
Experience handling large databases (millions+ records)
Experience with SAS and/or R
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
