Key responsibilities & impact

Develop speeches, talking points, briefing materials, presentation content, and speaker biographies supporting leadership and stakeholder engagements
Support speaker preparation activities for conferences, workshops, panel discussions, presentations, and community engagement events
Collaborate with communications teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop clear, audience-focused messaging
Refine messaging and presentation materials to align with outreach, engagement, and communication objectives
Develop supporting engagement materials, including handouts, presentations, speaker books, and event collateral
Conduct background research and synthesize complex information into concise communications products
Support leadership preparation through message refinement, presentation reviews, and speaking support
Gather and incorporate audience feedback and engagement insights to improve messaging effectiveness
Ensure communications materials adhere to government standards and accessibility requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
U.S. citizenship required
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, journalism, public affairs, English, political science, or related field
3+ years of professional experience in speech writing, executive communications, public affairs, strategic communications, or related field
