About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform wide range of energy related analysis which may include: statistical analyses, analysis of fuel and utility bills, estimate energy efficiency savings and costs, measure engineering analysis, program benefit-cost analysis, program development and planning, evaluation analysis, market research, survey design, and secondary research.
- Complete assigned tasks and analyses to project manager and manager’s satisfaction.
- Prepare written reports and presentation materials and assist in the development of project deliverables.
- Justify and document technical decisions related to research, planning, and data analysis.
- Begin to build and maintain relationships with clients to maximize productivity and cultivate future opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS in a related field, or BS in a recognized engineering discipline from an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program
- 3+ years of experience performing quantitative or analytical work, preferably in the energy, utilities, sustainability, or related consulting environment
- 2+ years of experience using Excel for data analysis, including common formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIFS, pivot tables)
- Experience with one or more programming languages, Visual Basic, R, Stata, SQL, SAS, Python
- Experience with analysis of common energy efficiency measures including lighting, HVAC and other equipment and systems
- Additional certifications may be preferred i.e. CEM, IPMVP, etc.
