About the role
- Guide a cross-functional Agile team in delivering a Salesforce-based SaaS solution
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews) to ensure efficient team collaboration and delivery
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and design system features (e.g., workflows, processes)
- Ensure the project meets DoD and federal government security and compliance standards, supporting efforts to obtain Authorization to Operate (ATO)
- Remove team impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals
- Support gate reviews for system and acquisition lifecycle checkpoints, ensuring timely delivery of required documentation
- Promote effective communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to align on project objectives and progress
- Assist in delivering user training to ensure effective adoption of the new system
- Maintain Agile artifacts (product backlog, sprint backlog) and track progress using tools like Jira or equivalent
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams, preferably on Salesforce or SaaS implementation projects
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Scrum Master certification required
- Candidate must have a Public Trust or an Active Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements
- Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
- Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years
- Must support US Eastern time zone working hours
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of DoD and federal government security standards and experience supporting ATO processes
- Experience working with federal government clients, particularly DHS or DoD
- Familiarity with Salesforce, including its general functionality and the use cases it supports
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- Prior experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation
- Background in data migration projects
