About the role
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts (automated and manual as needed) to validate Salesforce-based system functionality, workflows, and integrations.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure the solution meets stakeholder requirements and federal compliance standards.
- Quickly learn and work with agency-provided automated testing systems to test application functionality, API integrations, and availability monitoring.
- Validate data migration from legacy systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, user stories, and system workflows to design effective test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews) to provide quality assurance insights and align testing with sprint goals.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate training materials to ensure usability and adoption.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test results, defect reports, and quality metrics, for gate reviews and project deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a Quality Assurance & Test Engineer developing, documenting, and executing application test plans and scripts for software development projects.
- 1+ years working on a large Salesforce implementation.
- 1+ years working with automated testing systems.
- 3+ years of experience and proven proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 1+ years of experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation.
- Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
- Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
- Must be a United States (U.S.) Citizen or Green card, and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.).
