About the role
- Develop and maintain strong, collegial relationships with state education agencies (SEAs) and other clients
- Conduct needs assessments
- Develop and deliver technical assistance that clearly addresses client needs
- Monitor and course correct technical assistance as needed
- Coordinate with project evaluators to curate evidence
- Liaise with clients
- Lead and coordinate TA teams to ensure the provision of high-quality services to clients
Requirements
- Doctorate in education, social sciences, public administration, or related subjects
- 10+ years of experience at the state and/or national level working with K-12 education policies, regulations, and systems
- 10+ years of experience developing and delivering technical assistance to state and district educators and leaders
- 10+ years developing high quality technical assistance materials, including information briefs, white papers, tools, presentations, and processes
- 7+ years working with MS Office and other standard office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Connect)
- 5+ years experience directing or managing large-scale federal grants or contracts; 3+ years supervising teams with personnel management responsibilities
