About the role

  • Support a national team of training and technical assistance providers, dedicated to the field of affordable housing
  • Work with a diverse set of stakeholders including cities, counties, states and nonprofit entities receiving technical assistance through HUD and other industry partners
  • Focus on the field of HUD affordable housing programs, including the HOME Investment Partnerships, National Housing Trust Fund, and other related programs
  • Develop/deliver training sessions, conference presentations, workshops, and webinars
  • Focus on best practice and innovative strategies related to affordable housing programs
  • Contribute to the design of tools, drafting of reports, and development of policy guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Planning, Public Policy, Government or a related discipline or minimum 10 years of professional experience in similar field
  • Minimum of 20 years knowledge in HUD Office of Affordable Housing Programs
  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering trainings, workshops and webinars; facilitation, and public speaking to a variety of audiences.
