About the role
- Support a national team of training and technical assistance providers, dedicated to the field of affordable housing
- Work with a diverse set of stakeholders including cities, counties, states and nonprofit entities receiving technical assistance through HUD and other industry partners
- Focus on the field of HUD affordable housing programs, including the HOME Investment Partnerships, National Housing Trust Fund, and other related programs
- Develop/deliver training sessions, conference presentations, workshops, and webinars
- Focus on best practice and innovative strategies related to affordable housing programs
- Contribute to the design of tools, drafting of reports, and development of policy guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Planning, Public Policy, Government or a related discipline or minimum 10 years of professional experience in similar field
- Minimum of 20 years knowledge in HUD Office of Affordable Housing Programs
- Demonstrated success developing and delivering trainings, workshops and webinars; facilitation, and public speaking to a variety of audiences.
