About the role

  • Apply Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and work closely with the release train engineer (RTE), product owner, scrum team, and other stakeholders
  • Guide teams to deliver on-time, high-quality products, improve team efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Work with teams to identify and remove impediments that may hinder their progress
  • Track and monitor team performance metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, to ensure optimal productivity
  • Provide regular reports on team performance, risks, successes and failures to the program leadership team
  • Facilitate PI planning events and working session meetings to discuss scope, schedule and requirements with product owners
  • Help the Product Owner with prioritization, risk management, and scope
  • Manage product quality, releases, and delivery
  • Conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, daily Scrum Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a software development team
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US
  • Must have lived in the US 3 full years out of the last 5 years
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification (PSM I, CSM) preferred
  • Hands-on experience leading multiple Scrum teams in a variety of contexts
  • Knowledge of other Agile methodologies like Kanban
  • Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery, Automated Testing
  • Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite
