About the role
- Independently conduct queries of very large military health administrative data
- Oversee the work of three other teammates and monitor progress
- Lead team meetings to report progress, challenges, and status updates
- Evaluate incoming analytic requirements and advise on analytic approaches
- Utilize advanced SAS skills for data management and evaluation
- Develop dynamic data visualizations and dashboards for stakeholders
- Prepare analytic reports and publications detailing methods and findings
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Epidemiology Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field
- At least 6 years of experience working with health administrative data
- At least 3 years of experience using the Military Health System Data Repository (MDR)
- A minimum of 8 years of experience writing complex SAS and SQL code
- At least 6 years of experience performing program evaluations and analyses
- At least 6 years of experience conducting data management and cleaning
- Must have strong statistical software proficiency
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients and teammates
