About the role
- Oversee a multi-disciplinary team of communications professionals and subject matter experts (SMEs) supporting a high-profile industry-led public awareness campaign.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for the client responsible for executing requests and managing overall program delivery.
- Work collaboratively with team leads and SMEs responsible for campaign strategy and delivery and evaluation.
- Advise the client on strategic planning for integrated marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and priorities.
- Manage relationships with senior-level clients and industry stakeholders to ensure programmatic success, buy-in, and client satisfaction.
- Oversee and review deliverables and campaign material to ensure quality control and alignment with the client’s vision.
- Launch and monitor campaign pulses across multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, paid media, and public relations.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on campaign progress and key performance indicators.
- Prepare post-campaign reports, including detailed analysis of results, lessons learned, and recommendations for future campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a relevant field.
- At least 7 years of experience leading public health marketing and communications efforts.
- U.S. Citizenship required (required by our clients for the position).
- Ability and experience communicating effectively (speaking and writing) to diverse audiences.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certifications.
- Master’s degree in communications, public health, social sciences, business, or associated disciplines a plus.
- Experience with public health program/project management (with a focus on topics such as maternal and child health, emergency services, program member recruitment and retention, substance abuse prevention, mental health support).
- Knowledge of Texas Health and Human Services Commission and Texas Department of State Health Services culture and processes.
- Experience with earned media and press operations, issues management.
- Experience with media buying and paid social strategies.
- Experience working in an agency environment or with clients.
- Prior award-winning campaign experience a plus.
