About the role

  • Perform technical analyses, including power flow simulations and market assessments, to support interconnection and transmission projects.
  • Assist in preparing client deliverables, such as reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Support project managers in coordinating project tasks and timelines.
  • Stay current on regulatory and market developments in North American power markets.
  • Communicate technical findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • Consultant: 2+ years of experience in the North American electric power sector, with exposure to interconnection or transmission projects.
  • Senior Consultant: 5+ years of experience in the North American electric power sector, with exposure to interconnection or transmission projects.
  • Experience with at least one power flow assessment tool (e.g., PowerGEM TARA, GE-PSLF, PSS-E, PowerWorld).
  • Experience with generator or load interconnection processes, transmission planning, and regulatory frameworks.
