About the role
- Lead large-scale interconnection and transmission consulting projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Oversee and mentor a team of consultants and associates, providing technical guidance and professional development.
- Develop and implement interconnection strategies for clients, leveraging advanced power flow simulations and market analysis.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in North American power markets, advising clients on compliance and strategic positioning.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on business development, proposal writing, and service innovation.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in the North American electric power sector, with significant exposure to interconnection and transmission consulting.
- Experience managing teams and leading complex projects.
- Experience with generator or load interconnection processes, transmission planning, and regulatory frameworks.
- Client management experience.
