About the role
- Lead a skilled team in power systems modeling and analytics for utility clients
- Mentor and train less experienced engineers
- Coordinate project management tasks such as budgeting and scheduling
- Interact with clients to demonstrate expertise
- Create and maintain various system models and analyses
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering theories and principles
- 5+ years of experience working at an electric utility
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE, ANSI, NERC and FERC regulations
- Experience in scripting in Python to automate analyses in power systems software
