About the role
- Advise and develop legal strategies for business programs and clients
- Counsel teams on procurement and compliance for state and local engagements
- Support dispute resolution and litigation strategy
- Advise on IP and technology topics
- Provide employment law advice to HR team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and privacy laws
- Support merger and acquisition transactions
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Subject matter expertise in legal areas
- Strong legal and issue analysis skills
- Clear written/oral communication skills
- Experience in state and local government procurement/contracting is a plus
- Proven ability to manage fast-moving matters
- Business-oriented mindset with client-service orientation
- Willingness to work hybrid from Reston VA office
