About the role
- Work on a national technical assistance project to support and enable legal representation to Unaccompanied Children across the country.
- Implement an effective strategy to manage the operations of the legal service provider network.
- Align, track, and manage workflows both at facilities and post-release.
- Ensure continuity of services and oversee case matching and referrals post-release.
- Coordinate recruitment and monitoring of a pro-bono attorney network.
- Work closely with legal service provider organizations to refer and match cases to pro bono attorneys.
- Set up and implement processes for pro bono case tracking.
- Manage a team to facilitate the work outlined above.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years professional project management experience, including managing projects, tasks, deliverables, staff supervision and budget oversight
- A minimum of 3 years demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships, including balancing multiple perspectives/needs
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with immigrating children and families.
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of management experience or Master’s Degree plus 2 years of management experience.
- Project Management Professional or similar certification
- Experience working for a refugee program or unaccompanied children program
- Working knowledge of the unaccompanied children’s program
- Proficient in use of Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar applications
- Master’s degree in social work, public administration, or other advanced degree in a related field
