Lead annual and quarterly planning processes for the global marketing organization, including marketing budget allocation, resource alignment, OKR setting, and interlock with Sales, Finance, and Corporate Strategy.
Partner with the CMO to architect and drive high-priority strategic initiatives that elevate marketing’s contribution to pipeline creation, brand equity, customer value, and company valuation.
Act as a thought partner to the CMO, contributing to decisions around marketing resource prioritization, rhythm of the business reporting, and strategic progress.
Own the full cycle of marketing budget management—from planning and forecasting to real-time monitoring and optimization.
Build business cases including financial justification for marketing investment decisions, ensuring data-backed justification for program and headcount allocation.
Drive the development and evolution of marketing dashboards and performance reports that measure KPIs tied to pipeline, brand engagement, campaign ROI, and channel performance.
Lead and continuously improve operating rhythms for the marketing leadership team, including weekly staff meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), offsites, and executive reviews.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in marketing operations, strategy, finance, or chief of staff roles within high-growth B2B SaaS or technology environments.
Proven success in leading strategic planning, marketing performance measurement, and executive communications.
Strong business acumen and ability to develop financial business cases, scenario plans, and board-level business cases.
Executive presence, high EQ, and a proven ability to influence senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
Expert in marketing performance metrics and modern tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, HubSpot, Marketo).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize and translate complex topics for senior audiences.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
