About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze a high volume of automotive credit files and make fast, well-informed decisions within tight timeframes
  • Assess vehicle collateral: market value, Loan-to-Value (LTV), mileage, year, wear and accident history
  • Detect signs of fraud: document inconsistencies, forged pay stubs, contract manipulation, straw borrowers
  • Apply risk policies: approval thresholds, pricing matrices, maximum advance amounts, down payments and guarantees
  • Manage a high volume of phone calls with dealer partners (F&I) to clarify files, resolve issues in real time, and accelerate the approval cycle
  • Recommend appropriate deal structures: term, down payment, co-borrower, and ancillary products
  • Document decisions (notes, rationale, supporting documents) and participate in post-funding reviews and quality audits
  • Work in synergy with automated tools and the platform’s intelligent workflows to optimize decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Some experience in consumer credit — experience in the automotive sector is a significant asset
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of files and calls while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable making quick decisions under pressure, with strong analytical judgment
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills — English is an asset
