Inside Sales Representative, Bilingual
Iceberg FinanceInternal Sales Representative for Finance Canada, engaging service providers to understand financial needs and present solutions. Collaborating with sales team to achieve monthly targets and build long-term relationships.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service provider/merchant outreach: Contact prospective and existing service providers and merchants via inbound and outbound calls, email, and digital channels to understand their financial needs, present relevant financing solutions, and drive sales.
- Product knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our financial programs and services.
- Sales reporting analysis: Regularly review sales reports and monitor accounts with increases or decreases in sales. Share your analysis findings with the Sales Director and sales teams.
- Sales and conversions: Generate revenue by meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets through a consultative, needs-based selling approach.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with underwriting and compliance teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from application through approval.
- Service provider/merchant follow-up: Perform regular follow-ups to ensure they are using the service and address any additional questions, reinforcing a positive customer experience.
- Occasional travel / business trips: Work with the sales team to support visits to our service providers, deliver virtual and in-person training, and occasionally attend trade shows, events, and conferences.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or consumer financing.
- Solid understanding of consumer financing products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in French and English.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office suite, and basic data entry.
- Ability to handle a high call volume and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is an asset.
